In early 2016, Frankfurt-based creative agency „Herren der Schöpfung“ hired me to support them on a very ambitious project for their client Hyundai – The „Layers Exponat“, an interactive installation for Hyundai’s new hybrid car IONIQ at the Geneva International Motor Show. Together with my 3D-partner Maurice Jochem, we developed all the 3D-assets for the projections of the carmodel as well as many of the transition-animations, that lead the user from one section to the other.
The installation features 2 55inch 4K-LED-Screens in the backwall and 4 55inch 4K transparent OLED-Screens in front and inbetween a 50cm acrylic model of the car, split in 3 pieces, that move back and forth independently from each other.
